Professional Master in Irrigation Problems in Developing Countries
We are pleased to announce that the 5th edition of our Professional Master in Irrigation Problems in Developing Countries will be held in Florence, Italy, from 7 November 2011 to 30 June 2012.
The aim of the Master is to enhance the skills of public administration staff, extension service employees and researchers working in the fields of irrigation and/or drainage.
The Master is planned for up to 20 participants; 12 seats are reserved to candidates coming from Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Mozambique.
Selected participants from African countries will benefit of a scholarship provided by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including one return air ticket, food and lodging at the IAO Training Centre, medical insurance and pocket-money for the training period.
Applications of African nationals should be submitted to the local Italian Embassy or Office of the Italian Cooperation by 9 September 2011 in order to ensure inclusion in the selection process.
